A recent United Nations conference (the 29th Conference of the Parties or COP 29) recently took place in Baku. CFACT's Craig Rucker was there and provided this first-hand account of what happened. Much of the activity focused on collecting funds from developed countries and funnelling it to poor countries - with plenty of strings attached.
