Air Date Feb 6, 1995. Rikki and Martin convince Sydney to leave Melrose and come live with them at their desert retreat which turns out to be a polygamous religious cult. When Sydney decides to leave, they lock her up against her will. Meanwhile, Michael convinces Amanda, after another diagnosis, that she has Hodgkin's disease (lymph cancer). Amanda wants to keep her condition a secret and ignores Michael's request that she reduce her workload. Detective Jonathan Rawlings, a gay cop, questions Matt about his beating and when Matt tells him of his suspicions about Kimberly, Rawlings shows his true colors when he physically threatens her.
