Apostle Donna Barber has been in ministry for over 40 yrs. She and her husband, Darrell founded Good News Worship Ctr. in 1992 and served as Senior Pastors until September 2020. She is Co-founder of Empowering Life Ministries which serves to equip the church and it’s leadership with knowledge and wisdom to establish the Kingdom of God. The heart of her ministry is to empower people to live an overcoming life in Christ. She walks in the gifts of the Spirit and preaches in a style to give the hearer an "out of the box" look at the Word of God. Apostle Donna has had the opportunity to preach in Haiti, Canada, Thailand, Burma, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Cuba, as well as many states in USA. She has been privileged to preach to millions in Nicaragua through their Christian TV station. Apostle Donna continues to mentor, counsel and disciple many through her the revelation insight from the Holy Spirit. She holds a Bachelor of Biblical Studies Degree in Biblical Studies (TH.B.). Donna and Darrell will celebrate 46yrs of marriage in March of 2023. She has 2 children, 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She and her family resided in Lexington, Tn.
