Episode 261 - Do you suffer from anxiety? When you are anxious what happens? Your heart beats faster, your cortisol levels raise, and your body prepares for something. The fight or flight mechanism kicks in. Panic attacks can also be a problem when it comes to anxiety and anxiety can paralyze a person and hold them back from their true potential and the life that they want. This is EXACTLY what happens to your body when you get excited as well. So what do you do? You replace anxiety with excitement. This is called anxiety reappraisal and I explain the technique in this video.
