- Don't compare your 'busyness' to someone else's.
- Everyone's busy is relative (think capacity, stage of life, work environment, family responsibilities, etc.)
- Replace 'busy' with 'full' / full allows you to take back the control; busy feels like a victim mindset in the sense of things happening to us. Fullness flips the script, and we allow degrees of fullness. You choose.
- Something's gotta give. Usually, it's the stuff that is most important to us (family, health, quality of productivity, etc.). Again, think seasonally, and if you say yes, you probably need to say no to something else.
