This week we get to highlight a great organization that is dedicated to getting kids in the outdoors. On October 12th 2015, Kansas City Missouri firefighters John V Mesh and Larry Leggio tragically lost their lives fighting a fire. Shortly after that, John's brother, Jim Mesh and one of his best friends and brother firefighters John Sirna created the John V Mesh Memorial Scholarship. John loved the outdoors growing up and all the way through his life, so Jim and John dedicated themselves to making sure his legacy lives on by getting others into the outdoors to develop that same love. This organization sponsors many different events for children and gives scholarships to young people who may be pursuing a career dedicated to the outdoors. We were honored to sit down and talk with Jim and John and learn more about this great organization and a great man.
