This message invites us to reflect on the timeless story from Genesis 25, where Esau sells his birthright for a bowl full of beans. Many of us would like to judge Esau for this hasty and short-sighted act, but the truth is, we often do the same thing. There is a human tendency to sacrifice the eternal for the sake of immediate, temporary satisfaction. But what if blessing doesn’t come from the temporary things we can get for ourselves, but from the eternal gifts that God gives?
