Life is hard. That is one of the undisputed facts of history. We all go through trials. We all carry burdens. We all have had seasons where we feel downright defeated. And to make matters worse, we often allow the difficulties of life to carry us away from intimacy with God. But God’s invitation, no matter the season or circumstance, is always to come back to him. In hard times, come back to God. In your overwhelm and anxiety, come back to God. When you drift or turn away from God, come back to God. This week, we will invite our people to ‘Come to the Father’ through Baptism.
