The greatest gift of real relationships is connection. The greatest threat to real relationships is distraction. Nothing keeps us at a distance from others like the distractions that plague our lives. While the promise of technology like Social Media is greater connection with others, nothing could be further from the truth. Isolation, depression and anxiety are at an all time high, and so much of that is directly connected to the distractions we allow in our lives. So what would it look like to be fully present with others? To be undistracted? To be committed to connection…no matter the cost.
