Resources

The Sojourner Family Peace Center in Milwaukee operates a 24-hour confidential hotline at (414) 933-2722. Sojourner's shelter remains open and has beds available for clients who get screened in. The center is taking walk-in clients at 619 W. Walnut St. and following state public health guidance.

Milwaukee County court remains open for restraining order injunction hearings and for new filings for restraining orders. Sojourner advocates recommend calling ahead at (414) 278-5079 for the latest guidance.

The Milwaukee Women's Center also offers a hotline at (414) 671-6140 and its shelter remains open. The Asha Project provides a crisis line from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at (414) 252-0075.

The National Domestic Violence Hotline can be reached at (800) 799-7233 or by texting LOVEIS to 22522.
