On Monday May 17th, Mike Jones ended a 19 year run at DeMatha Catholic, including 8 WCAC titles and more than 500 wins, to become the Associate Head Coach at Virginia Tech. Many people asked why he would leave such an esteemed position at such a storied program to become an assistant coach.
