Description

"The Program" takes a shot that few other football movies have; trying to realistically portray what goes on at a major college football program. That's a tall task.

Barton Simmons (Barton & Bud podcast, CBS Sports) joins Big Screen Sports to grade how the film stacked up in portraying every single aspect of college football that it took a shot at. Barton and host Kyle Bandujo give their thoughts on James Caan as a head coach, questionable player discipline at ESU, and the absolute force that is the character of Alvin Mack. They'll pick the most & least authentic aspects of the film, what worked and what didn't, and try to decide if the film actually has a big chill moment.
