September 29th, 9am: With 35 days to go until the midterms, special coverage takes us to Capitol Hill, where former DOJ special counsel Jack Smith faced intense questioning from Republican senators on the Senate Judiciary Committee. The official title of the hearing was: "Oversight of Jack Smith's Abuse of Authority and the Targeting of Republicans and Related Matters." Republicans say Smith's investigations of Donald Trump were politically motivated and that he targeted them by going after their phone records.
