The St. Louis Cardinals won 2022's opening series 2-1 over the Pittsburgh Pirates. Nolan Arenado drove in seven, Tyler O'Neill drove in six and the rest of the Cardinal offense impressed. Miles Mikolas and Steven Matz, however, were unimpressive in their season debuts. The offense has a lot to like about it, while Cardinals fans should be aware of the starting rotation holes, but not panic about them.
