The St. Louis Cardinals won game one of the doubleheader yesterday, but were unable to pull off a sweep of the New York Mets after falling 7-2 in the second. Game one saw home runs from the two Pauls, and while DeJong might have as much pressure on him as last season, he is still an important cog in this lineup. Since it was just a 7 inning game, the bullpen wasn't too taxed after KK Kim only went four innings. Game two saw Johan Oviedo unable to keep the ball in the park and the Cardinal offense unable to hit with Runners in Scoring Position.
