Paul Goldschmidt hammered three home runs in the series as St. Louis is just 2.5 games out of the playoffs. Yes, starting pitching was bad in the double header, but the bullpen did enough in game two to secure a series win. Despite the ugly loss in game three, the Cardinals should feel good about a series win against a playoff team.
