The Cardinals were shut out in a game two loss to the New York Mets last night. While it might not be time to press the panic button, the offense is starting to cause some concern with its performance over the last week or so. Is it just one of those stretches? Is the Mets pitching THAT good? Is it a deadened baseball? It's likely a combination of all of it. Also, the extracurriculars that were involved with the HBP's yesterday was a lot for something that isn't a big deal. To finish the show, the point is made that playoff teams, more times than not, do NOT get swept at home.
