One year ago today, the Nolan Arenado trade was made official. On today's show, Lucas looks deeper at the pieces the Cardinals gave up in that trade. While there's one player who had a good season in 2021, it's still a trade that the Cardinals are looked at as winners. Even statistics can do little to describe what Nolan Arenado meant to the Cardinals last season, and the prospects given up didn't hurt their farm system.
Also, there's an actual move to discuss as the Cardinals added possible bullpen depth via a minor league deal.
