Just like so many other believers, you may have a hard time believing that you’re valuable to God. You know your past and everything you’ve done wrong. So you doubted God truly loving and valuing you.
Many Christians suffer from self-hatred, insecurity, feelings of rejection, and loneliness. This is because of their failing to comprehend how God sees them and how He feels about them. How they see themselves obstructs their view of how God sees them.
Let’s see what God says about how He views us in 1 John 3. God loves ALL people, but only the believers are His treasure. We seem to be more aware of our shortcomings than who we are to God. Did you know that you are God's treasure and deeply loved? Live in the truth of who you are in God. God wants to be both your treasure and your treasurer by reminding you that you are His while inviting you to a process of pruning and polishing to reveal our full potential.
