While Lonny dreams of growing the family business, Wilma reveals the financial strain she is under thanks to hospital bills and ranch repairs. Lonny and Wilma try to rein in Miriam’s spirit as she’s determined to break free from the ranch, citing Harlean as a role model. Harlean steps out on the town with a banker, selling a good time in exchange for a luxurious dinner and a roll of the dice at The Willows, Reno’s most glamorous nightclub.
