Dr. Pratheepa Jeganathan is a mathematician who counts bacteria. She likes using math to solve real world problems. She uses multiview learning and mathematics to help us better understand the microbiome in the human digestive system and vagina. Practical applications include infection and cancer treatment. Dr. Jeganathan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at McMaster University
