Description

We must develop a passionate desire to pray in order to connect with God as Jesus taught us:

1. Jesus made time for prayer (Mark 1:35; Luke 5:16). We make time for those things that are important to us.
2. Jesus devoted Himself to prayer, and so should we (Colossians 4:2; 1 Thessalonians 5:17; John 17). How much time do you spend in prayer? How can you devote more time to prayer?
3. Prayer revitalizes our relationship with God (Psalm 37:4; John 15:7, 5:19-20, 17:24; Acts 1:14; Hebrews 4:16.
