This felt a little like a venting session about how difficult parenting can be, but turns out we have a lot to learn from the challenges our kids face too. We have to experience the refining process to really learn and change. If our motives are to just make some surface change or behavior modification, lasting change doesn't really occur.
What happens when we just try to do things on our own or our way? Sometimes God allows us to face a challenge to get us to slow down and rely on Him.
