LeBron James scored 32 points, including a season-high 23 in the first half, and D’Angelo Russell added 20 points off the bench as the Lakers beat the hometown Sacramento Kings 103-99. 

The Lakers' defense has been ranked number one overall in their last five games, holding opponents to under 100 in three of their last five. 

The Lakers will look to extend their 3-game winning streak to four on a Monday when they host the Detroit Pistons.
