Jay Greeson, Chris Lee and Chase Robinson preview and predict outcomes of LSU’s road trip to Clemson to begin the 2025 college football season for both teams. The game will be shown at 6:30 Central on ABC on Monday night. Topics include: LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier has a loaded receiver room with Aaron Anderson leading the way. LSU’s Caden Durham leads the ground attack. Clemson’s vaunted defensive line includes a pair of potential first-round NFL picks in Peter Woods and TJ Parker, while LSU replaces last year’s first-round tackles Will Campbell and Emery Jones with Tyree Adams and Weston Davis. Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnick could join Nussmeier in the first-overall-NFL-pick-for-2026, and brings talent and experience. Some say this is Dabo Sweeney’s most talented team in years. Both teams appear to be legitimate playoff contenders, but neither Sweeney nor LSU’s Brian Kelly has been stellar in openers lately.
