BREAKING News Update – September 4, 2025 Daniel Levy, the longest‑serving chairman in Premier League history, has stepped down from his role at Tottenham Hotspur with immediate effect after nearly 25 years in charge. Appointed in 2001, Levy oversaw the club’s transformation—leading them into regular European competition, orchestrating the construction of the new stadium and training centre, and ending a 17‑year trophy drought with the Europa League win last season His final year was marred by a dismal Premier League campaign, finishing 17th after a record 22 defeats, plus fan protests earlier in 2024 and 2025 over managerial instability and transfer policy In his resignation statement, Levy said: “I am incredibly proud… We have built this club into a global heavyweight… More than that, we have built a community…” The club confirmed there will be no changes to its ownership or shareholder structure Today also marks the start of a new leadership era: Peter Charrington steps in as Non‑Executive Chairman, with Vinai Venkatesham—recently appointed CEO—handling day‑to‑day operations Subscribe and stay tuned for reaction from fans, club insiders, and what this means for Tottenham’s future.
