The purpose of the Parent/Child relationship is to make Jesus known.
The parent’s role is to bring up and nourish a child through instruction and discipline. Not one or the other, but both always. Discipline should be corrective, not destructive. That means it ought to always be done in love, not anger, as an extension of nourishing our kids.
