Revolución begins its coverage of the 2020 Hispanic Television Summit by interviewing the women leading 305 Worldwide, a joint venture between Cuban-American rapper Pitbull and Horizon Media, the largest independent media agency in the world. 305 Worldwide's EVP/Managing Partner Sandra Alfaro and SVP/Managing Director Karina Dobarro both play crucial roles in this year's conference. Alfaro shares her thoughts about the state of the ad industry on a power panel, while Dobarro will receive the Executive Leadership Award in Hispanic Television for the Media Category. The two guests talk with our co-hosts about which is more important in reaching Hispanics -- language, culture or country of origin, they explain the difference between DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) and multicultural marketing, and finally, the two detail how Armando Christian Pérez (a/k/a "Pitbull") started this new company.
