It has won 8 Emmy Awards and amassed some 10 million users per month with 9 million Facebook fans. Leading the company is Rene Alegria, an entrepreneur who began his career in publishing. After leaving that industry, he create Mamiverse, a digital media property famous for hosting Michelle Obama for a historic livestream. Alegria talks about his career trajectory with cohosts Ana Crandell, Diego Lasta and Court Stroud in this episode.
