B.O.C. was quite an undertaking by our crew this year. A block party is not an easy thing to pull off, especially when the event starts at 6am on New Years Day. Can I also mention, that about a thousand people are waiting in 30 degree rainy weather to get into Club Mighty. Silent Disco was available outside under a big tent with 5 bars and plenty of headphones to cover cold ears. I covered a fun shift with Jenee handing out headphones from 8am-10am. I then walked around looking for needles (unsuccessful) before hitting a wall of people inside Mighty. Set time was 11am so, I lifted bag above head and wiggled my way up to Zach Moore rocking things. My long sleeve shirt was soaked from sweat before I even got on stage. The turntables were missing needles and I decided to play dusty cd's from Burningman. Those were some great tracks but not what I worked on. This is what shoulda happened.......
