Research among top CEOs in the US by Cambridge Judge Business School Lecturer in Finance Dr Bang Dang Nguyen clearly shows that a good CEO is worth their weight in gold, and that most are in fact paid too little. He calls for regulators to focus their efforts on making the labour market more transparent and efficient rather than disrupting it and punishing all by capping remunerations.
