In GBA 169 we get better acquainted with James McKay. He talks us through Victorian poetry recitals, classical literature and history, plundering and re-contextualising the canon, the relationship between the Moomins and Zen thinking, putting on gigs in your front room and being an "Arts Thatcherite". If all of that sounds dry and worthy and highbrow then think again as this conversation is very much the opposite of that.
