"After a 2-year break from the playa, I was excited to be back at Burning Man this year. I had an early arrival pass for the first time after 7 trips to the playa and I really enjoyed seeing BRC in the earlier part of the week. The Hoedown was, once again, a screaming success and seeing how many art cars came to join us speaks volumes to the amazing support we have from the burner community. I've been DJ'ing since 2003 and still get nervous every time I play, and I was worried I wasn't going to play the "right" music at 5am... but seeing those smiling faces on the dancefloor was the inspiration I needed to pick the "right" music. ;)"

ShOOey has been a staple in the San Francisco dance scene since 2003. You can find her and her infectious energy at Space Cowboys events playing breaks and house. She also dedicated her time DJ'ing in support for non-profit organizations like Beats for Boobs and La Casa de las Madres.
