Momentdat, on his real name Cosmin Dumitru, was born in Braila, a small town near Bucharest. His first contact with electronic music was in highschool when he went for the first time at some underground parties. Attracted by the sound, he organized some parties along with a good friend of his and got himself connected to the turntables.
This was the start of his experiment among the electronic music scene. As a DJ he played at several parties hosted in some small clubs in Braila and soon after highschool he moved to Bucharest for college. He managed to play at the Film & Theater Festival 2009 in Bucharest, parties and festivals in the capital and Bacau.
The music that he plays in his DJ sets is defined by raw minimal techno beats.
