YOU I’ll exalt, my God, O king, and I will bless your name always.
I’ll bless you every single day; your name forever I will praise.
Great is the LORD, much to be praised; his greatness fully search can none.
Father to son will praise your works, tell of the mighty works you’ve done.
Upon the glorious splendour of your majesty my mind will dwell,
and on the things that you have done, works that in wonder do excel;
And men will speak of all the might of your own works that awesome are,
and I in turn will also speak; your greatness too I will declare,
And of your goodness that is great, the memory they will express;
they’ll tell it forth. They’ll shout for joy at your own perfect righteousness.
The LORD so very gracious is, and merciful is he also.
In loving-kindness he is great, and unto anger he is slow.
