Inspired by a sleepless summer night
Summer Storm
I been up all night
I should be sleeping,
Winds are blowing strong.
the roof is caving in,
I'm just waiting til dawn.
Its blowing a gale
and my ship set sail,
Left me here on the docks.
I should be counting sheep,
but i'm just watching the clock.
This mind don't rest,
I try my best to gently
shut it down.
Seems i'm stuck while the wheels
are spinning around...
I been up all night
Oh i should be sleeping
winds are blowing strong
the roof is caving in
I'm just waiting til dawn.
Its changing form
this summer storm,
playing tricks in the night.
Electricity and flashes of light....
