On February 23, 2017, the Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation hosted a seminar with Margaret Weir, Professor of Political Science and International Public Affairs at Brown University, titled, "America's Two Worlds of Welfare." The seminar was moderated by Candelaria Garay, Associate Professor of Public Policy, HKS. This event was a part of the comparative democracy seminar series organized by the Ash Center.
