On September 28, 2016, The Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation hosted a seminar titled #Tech4Democracy: Meet the Change makers. Panelists included Tiana Epps-Johnson, Founder and Executive Director of the Center for Technology and Civic Life; Rey Faustino, CEO, Founder and Board Chair at One Degree; Seth Flaxman, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Democracy Works; and Denise Linn, Program Analyst with Smart Chicago. The seminar was moderated by Archon Fung, Ford Foundation Professor of Democracy and Citizenship and Academic Dean of the Harvard Kennedy School. This event was part of HUBweek, a creative festival founded by the Boston Globe, Harvard University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Mass General Hospital to celebrate innovation at the intersection of art, science, and technology.
