When producer Tomasz “Guiddo” Switala and vocalist Sebastian “Mavin” Magassouba join forces in the studio or on stage, they go by the witty yet catchy name Manhooker.
They have a remarkable reputation in Europe’s music capital Berlin where they performed in the fabled Berghain and successively released on Ostgut Ton’s sublabel Unterton.
Luv Shack Records aquired one of their tracks for upcoming release LUV011 and in the wake of this collaboration we asked the duo for a contribution to the Luvcast mix series.
What we got is a wonderful ride through Manhooker`s musical cosmos: hip-house classics, disco/hip-hop jams, acid and deep house. All tracks were lovingly selected by both Mavin & Guiddo and mixed by the latter. Enjoy!
