What do you do when you have more new promos than you know what to do with? Throw them into a 3 hour Harmonic Medly of a mix of course!
This is a new experiment I did the other day taking all my new promos and making a 3 hour harmonic mix with them using the harmonic mixing algorithm I've built using iTunes and Traktor: http://blog.dubspot.com/how-to-create-smart-playlists-organize-your-music-in-itunes/
This was done all live in one take using my harmonic mixing system, and most of the tracks I've only heard for maybe a few seconds, but thanks to my secret mapping tricks in Traktor and special system of mixing in key I was able to turn all my new music clutter into a work of art.
