On this show I am going to read from “The Millennium and Israel’s Future” by Benjamin Wills Newton, another of the great 19th Christian writers. Although he was labeled as an heretic and a false teacher by the J.N. Darby and his followers, his friends and supporters included Charles Spurgeon, Samuel Tregelles and George Muller who said, “I regard Mr. Newton as the most accurate writer on religious themes of the nineteenth century,”
I have now read most of B.W. Newton’s books and have been very encouraged that his basic interpretation of Bible prophecy confirms and strengthens all that I have been taught and have taught to others over many years regarding the coming Antichrist, the last 7 years, the Second Coming of Christ, the 1000 years of the Millennium, and the New Heaven and Earth.
I have been wanting to share B.W. Newton’s teachings on the show for quite some time, but have hesitated, as I was not sure how easy it would be to absorb his expositions in audio format, especially as on every page there are notations and cross references. But on this show, I am going to give it a try. Let me know if you if you would like me to share more.
