“I’m the burning lights in the fridge”: 150 Session joins the 5th season of Radio Cómeme and introduces a show dedicated to the riddim. In the name of love and resistance we connected some highly political but yet not too critical jazz, rocksteady, ska, roots, dub and reggae beyond reggae tunes to accompany the final weeks of summer 2014. For the first time we also pay a tribute to Le Monde Diplomatique and recommend some movies which represent a possible subtext on 150 Session Edition XVII. Their titles are They Harder They Come (Jamaica 1972), Rockers (Jamaica 1978) and Countryman (Jamaica 1982). Enjoy!
