National recording artist Lessette and our NASCAR/NHL/Carolina Hurricanes expert Paul Whittington are our guests in the first hour today.
Lessette, an acclaimed gospel singer based out of ENC, is the headliner for tonight's "A Night of Christian Music" at the Kinston High School Performing Arts Center, presented by the Lenoir County Association of Congregations. Lessette, along with about a dozen other artists, are volunteering their talents tonight to raise money for Bible history classes that are being taught at Kinston High School, North Lenoir High School and South Lenoir High School. The show begins at 7 p.m.
Paul breaks the news of a big Carolina Hurricanes trade that is set to take place today and its impact on the Canes. He also talks about Christopher Bell and the potential of a three-peat this weekend in Phoenix.
