We recorded an exclusive broadcast interview with Dory Hines just a few moments after UNC Pembroke announced on Wednesday that he was hired as an assistant basketball coach. The former Kinston and University of Mount Olive star point guard and Arendell Parrott Academy head basketball coach tells us about his move to UNCP. He also tells us how the 2020 season ended at his last stop at Lander University -- as the team was literally on the bus to the NCAA Division II Tournament that was cancelled by COVID-19.
Our second interview for today's show was live with Kinston High School head football coach and athletics director Ryan "Diesel" Gieselman. He tells us about how his Vikings are preparing for the 2020 football season and if he thinks there will actually BE a 2020 football season.
