Today's show -- which did not air live due to technical issues at WRNS in New Bern -- features Lenoir County Fire Marshall Dustin Burkett, a South Lenoir High School graduate who is also the deputy director of Lenoir County Emergency Services. He provides an overnight assessment of Lenoir County following Hurricane Isaias and tells us about his journey to becoming one of the most important figures at LCES.
Kinston Mayor Don Hardy also joins the show to give us an update of how the City of Kinston fared overnight during Isaias.
The show opens with Jon and Jonathan calling in remotely with updates of Bucklesberry and Hookerton, respectively. The duo later join Bryan for The Birthday Game.
Note: Many, many thanks to TBHS Executive Producer Linda Whittington for helping out behind-the-scenes in one of the craziest shows we've had. Much, much appreciation!
