2020년 vurt podcast의 첫 번째 에피소드는 한국을 대표하는 테크노 아티스트 중 한 명인 Scøpe의 60분 믹스와 함께합니다. 이 믹스는 최근 Scopavik에서 발매된 Scøpe의 새로운 EP앨범 'Lure' 의 수록곡들 - Tak, Charm, Lure, Lure (Anthony Linell Remix)- 을 중심으로 만들어졌습니다.
The first episode of vurt podcast in 2020 is accompanied by a 60-minute mix of Scøpe, one of Korea's leading techno artists. The episode mixed around Scøpe's new EP album 'Lure', which was recently released by Scopavik.
한국의 테크노 프로듀서이자 디제이인 Scøpe는 세계 각지의 실력있는 테크노 아티스트들의 믹스를 소개하는 SCOPÁVIK 팟캐스트 시리즈를 운영하고 있으며, 2018년부터 동명의 레이블을 설립하여 자신만의 음악세계를 구축해나가고 있다.
2014년 데뷔 EP를 발매한 이후부터 현재까지 국내외 여러 레이블에서 꾸준히 작품을 발표하며 특유의 질감을 가진 테크노 사운드를 들려주고 있다.
Scøpe는 디제이셋에서 각 트랙마다의 리듬 구조를 유기적으로 얽고 점층적으로 쌓아간다. 이를 통해 새롭게 만들어지는 그루브는 청중들로 하여금 무의식적 움직임을 이끌어낸다. 그러다가 어느 순간 서정적 분위기로 이끌고, 이성과 본능의 교차점을 만들어 테크노 음악만이 줄 수 있는 기쁨을 선사한다.
Scøpe, a Korean techno producer and DJ, runs a SCOPÁVIK podcast series that introduces mix of skilled techno artists from all over the world. And he is holding a regular party called SCOPÁVIK in club vurt. In 2018, he started running a record label of the same name and is establishing his own world of music. Since his debut EP in 2014, he has been constantly showing his own sizzling and layered sounds from his every released EPs and remixes.
His dynamic DJ sets almost push the listeners into trance by eliciting their subconscious movements with new grooves which rhythmical structures in each track organically intertwine with each other and incrementally accumulate into, and then all of a sudden lead them to a lyrical tone, thus presenting listeners with the type of joy that only techno music can deliver by creating an intersection between reason and instinct.
