The 32nd vurt podcast features a 2hour journey by French-based techno producer Gëinst. He is one of the heads of the next generation in techno producers and presented a live set at Heterotopia event held at vurt in 2018. Gëinst is an artist with a unique and beautiful feeling, expressing light and shadow, bright and dark at the same time. 화산으로 둘러싸인 프랑스 남부의 외딴 마을에서 자란 Gëinst는 주로 자연을 소재로 한 작업을 선보이는 차세대 테크노 프로듀서 중 한 명이다. ARTS에서 발매한 초기 EP Uchronie(2016)가 높은 평가를 받으면서 전자 음악 세계에서 주목받기 시작한 Gëinst는, 곧 Trésor, vurt, Concrete와 같은 유명 클럽들을 비롯한 전 세계의 클럽들에서 자신의 바이브를 펼치기 시작했다.
부드러움과 거침의 조합이 Gëinst의 멜랑꼴리한 마음 상태를 정의하며, 작품에서는 다양한 음악적 정체성을 표현한다. 춤과 음악은 불가분의 관계임을 이해하기 위해 노력해온 Gëinst는, 댄서가 춤을 추는 제스처를 활성시키는 전자음악 특유의 다양한 반복 메커니즘을 통해 밝으면서 동시에 흐릿한 만화경과 같은 자신만의 루프(loop)를 창조하고 있다.

Raised in the french countryside, surrounded by volcanos, Gëinst's music project is mainly influenced by nature.
His entry into the world of electronic music has been highly acclaimed with his initial EP Uchronie released by ARTS which allowed him to spray his vibe around the globe and clubs like Trésor, Vurt or Concrete.
Sweetness and roughness combination define his melancholic state of mind.
Severals music identities under his productions, Gëinst strives to understand the inseparable relationship between dance and music. The different mechanisms of repetition, specific to electronic music, the very ones that activate gesture in the body of the piloted dancer, create this kaleidoscopic loop, bright and blurry at the same time.
