2023년을 마무리하는 56번째 vurt podcast는 네덜란드를 중심으로 활동중인 프랑스 출신의 디제이/프로듀서 Laura BCR과 함께합니다. On Board Music을 이끌며 유럽을 무대로 활발하게 활동하고 있는 Laura BCR의 2시간 세트는 지난 11월에 Badaboum 파리에서 열린 파티에서 녹음되었습니다.
"Last November, I’ve had the chance to play a closing set right after Paramida and Alex Kassian on a Thursday night at Badaboum in Paris for Cahiers Electroniques. The night not being Techno oriented, I tried to respect the progression of the running order on building a groovy set, full of percussions and quite dub focused. It turned out super energetic and people were transported by the storytelling - it’s a very good memory that I wanted to share with Vurt as I’m playing at the venue in Seoul on January 6.
It’s a pure best of 2023 what I have been playing this year with some classic tunes that come time to time in my sets from Ruhig to Tin Man (both timeless), Luigi Tozzi, Dorisburg, DJ Sodeyama, Justin Cudmore, Ectomorph or Ben Buitendjik. Laura BCR은 그녀가 몇년동안 일했고 많은 사랑을 받았던 베를린의 레코드숍 베이스 카뎃 레코드(Bass Cadet Records)에서 자신의 아티스트 이름을 따왔다. Laura는 감미롭고 깊이 있는 테크노와 더비 앰비언트 DJ 세트로 가장 잘 알려져 있으며, 온보드 뮤직(On Board Music)레이블, 에이전시 및 파티를 운영하는 것으로도 유명하다. 그녀는 SoHaSo, live at Robert Johnson, On Board, Auxiliary, Semantica에서 음악을 발표했으며, 최근에는 Konstrukt에서 새로운 EP를 발표하였다.
Laura BCR takes her name from the much-loved and now closed, Berlin record store, Bass Cadet Records, where she spent a couple of years behind the counter. These days, Laura is best known for her transportive, deep techno and dubby ambient DJ sets and for managing On Board Music label, agency & party organization. She has released music on SoHaSo, live at Robert Johnson, On Board, Auxiliary, Semantica and her latest EP has been out on Konstrukt a few weeks ago.
