Through a unique category created by his dual activities of both DJing and working as a sound engineer, Philipp Kim creates sets that expand on the sonic aesthetic that is one of the hallmarks of contemporary deep techno. He particularly excels at expressing an organic and lifelike sound through his selection of tracks that create ambiance through the resonance of percussive rhythms and that of contemporary rhythms, made up of smaller, finely expanded particles, as well as his excellent mixing of reversals within the set's flow to dramatize the dynamics of the dancefloor.
