Shinsuke Goto has honed his musical sensibility and DJ skills while working as a manager at “Mitsuki,” one of Tokyo’s most prominent venue in the 2020s. Currently, he is responsible for program curation at Mitsuki, and since 2022, he has been hosting the venue's only regular techno party, "AFTER LIFE," held bimonthly, where he has earned solid trust as a resident DJ.
Additionally, starting with participation at Japan's leading underground festivals "rural," and the domestic festival/project "LAPITA" which promotes exchanges with Asian countries, he has been expanding his name and reputation across Japan to the wider Asian region. Building on this momentum, in 2024, he launched the forward-thinking techno party "PYRO," rooted in a “local style.” Goto is a noteworthy player who continues to actively apply his on-the-ground approach to shaping spaces.
His appeal lies in his proactive attitude. He is always filled with passion, sincerely feeling everything with his entire being―from the inherent effects of dance music to the wonderful moments that arise spontaneously. This passion is effectively channelled into his performance. With a base in techno style, he embraces the challenge of incorporating fresh sounds, demonstrates keen insight by drawing the space under his control with deep track selections, and has the resonant power to explosively energize the dance floor. At times, he even becomes a driving force leading the community. Grounded firmly in the present, Goto's sensibility will eventually take you to a more transcendent place.
